We received with surprise the decision of the National Government to intervene in the Central East Subnet, despite the will that we have shown with actions
The mayor assured that on April 1 A sustainability plan worth 260,000 million pesos was built in order to cover the budget deficit of the subnetworks and install the technical and administrative conditions that allow them to be sustainable.
He added that on April 29 he met with Leal to present said plan, where it was agreed to “work as a team.” Likewise, the president said that on May 3, the District presented “an improvement plan” to solve the findings of the Supersalud, but he got no response.
“We were surprised by the decision of the National Government to intervene in the Central East Subnetwork, despite the will that we have shown with actions,” added Galán.
He also said that administration, control and monitoring have been carried out on the 17 wetlands of Bogotá and that in the coming days the Legal Secretariat will make judicial determinations on this decision.
Also, sand referred to the actions of the Superintendency of Public Services regarding “special surveillance” related to the water service, in which he has made more than 25 visits in less than two weeks that “are not related to rationing” and that generate “operational difficulties.”
“As mayor, I request respect for the management of our city and the opportunity to resolve our problems independently. It cannot be that if the National Government does not agree with district policies, it seeks to ignore the territorial autonomy of Bogotá,” he concluded.
