The scandal unleashed by the theft of cell phones at a Yerba Buena party is far from calming down. A witness revealed some details of what happened at the headquarters of a club on 1,300 Aconquija Avenue in which the Doble P recital was suspended due to the illegal acts committed.
Marcos A. was present at the failed show. He blamed the organizers for what happened. “Many tickets were sold and there was not enough security. There were three Patovicas to control the entry and another five inside. There was no one else,” he noted.
The young man said that the first problems arose when he entered the club. “There were endless lines. First the women passed and then the men. There were so many that no one was searched. “Everything happened,” Mauro explained. “There were three girls who had pepper spray. They threw people in their faces and when they raised their arms to protect themselves, they took their cell phones away,” he added.
The club’s neighbors were also surprised by what happened. Juana Herrera indicated that she woke up because of the shouting and the running. “There were desperate parents trying to help the Police control the most agitated and asking their children who were the ones who had robbed them. Meanwhile, the uniformed officers did everything possible to seize the teenagers,” she explained. “But in another sector there were minors who were trying to escape by beating them and others throwing their cell phones into the street so they wouldn’t be caught. The truth is that it was an image of the decadence that is being experienced,” added the neighbor.
“What worries us most is knowing what the municipal authorities are doing. Do they check the place before enabling them? Do they monitor what is sold inside? Are you responsible for confirming the number of people attending these parties? I am convinced that they do not do any of that,” explained Esteban Rodríguez. “I live a block from the club and we are already tired of what is happening. Incidents at the entrance, during meetings and on departures. “No one will do anything until something bad happens and only then will a whole debate open,” added the architect.
Judicial sources confirmed to LA GACETA that there was no prosecution for this incident. They did confirm that the Police detained 11 people, of which five were minors who ended up being handed over to their parents. Judicial officials confirmed that they did not have the evidence to charge the people who were suspected of committing these crimes. However, they reported that they requested that the investigation be deepened to determine if they can charge anyone.
