The Last Editorial
In joint actions for the prevention of criminal acts carried out by the Huila Police Department, two men were captured in the vicinity of the municipal gallery, after being surprised with two bovines tied inside a high-end truck.
They were immediately taken to the facilities of the Criminal Investigation Section, where the automotive expert was able to determine that the chassis of the vehicle does not correspond to the original.
For this reason, these two individuals are being initially presented before the URI Prosecutor’s Office on duty, for the alleged crime of false marking and rustling, while the owners of the cattle are located to receive the respective complaint for the theft.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Carlos Téllez, these results are thanks to the work carried out jointly by the judicial police, intelligence groups and surveillance patrols to anticipate the crime or for a timely reaction as in this case.
