The Government of the Province of Chubut, led by Ignacio “Nacho” Torres, through the General Secretariat of Government, held a meeting of the “Nearby Police Stations” Program at the 9 de Julio Cooperative Neighborhood Association in the city of Gaiman.

This meeting, which took place this Tuesday, was attended by the town’s mayor, Darío James; references from different areas related to security; as well as provincial and municipal officials; and the presence of neighbors who attended to participate in the program and share the problems they experience daily in terms of insecurity.

It is worth mentioning that this type of meeting seeks to involve residents with the safety of the population in general, and residents of different neighborhoods in particular, directly.

The “Nearby Police Stations” program, promoted by the governor, Ignacio “Nacho” Torres, seeks to intensify and deepen prevention and security tasks in various locations in the province of Chubut.

At the end of the meeting, the mayor of Gaiman stated that, “we met to address problems related to security. It was a very pleasant talk where the neighbors were able to express their concerns and worries, issues on which we were already working and we will continue to advance until their final resolution,” he expressed.

Next meeting dates

The presence of the “Comisarias Cercanas” Program will soon be on Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Malvinas Argentinas Neighborhood Association, located at Juan de la Piedra 325 in the city of Trelew.

Likewise, on Wednesday, May 15, they will meet at 6:00 p.m. at the Center for Retirees and Pensioners, located at Ester Villegas Bordeira 1817 in the town of Rada Tilly.
