The 22-year-old young man who was the victim of a violent attack caused by a knife was identified as Raúl Stiven Arrigui Sánchez.
The unfortunate event occurred around midnight last Monday and early yesterday, in the Ocho commune of the capital of Huila, where the individual, due to circumstances that remain to be clarified, was involved in a fight.
There another person wounded him with the edge of a machete in different parts of his body, causing serious injuries to his humanity. Thus, the affected person had to be taken by his parent to a healthcare center.
It was in the emergency unit of the IPC, where the doctors had to stop his bleeding caused by the multiple cuts he had. According to the diagnosis of the health personnel, he had an opening in his head with exposure and bone fracture. Likewise, he had more cuts on his left arm, especially on the wrist with involvement of the tendons and extensors of the hand. Her last injuries were in her lower limbs, including a fracture in her right shin that left her tibia visible.
The staff on duty had to provide him with first aid and he was later referred to a more complex center in Neiva. At press time, the citizen continued undergoing medical evaluation to analyze the damage caused by the attack.
