The official presentation of the Boxing evening was made, “Boxeo en La UNCa”, which is organized by the promoter Primer Round. There will be 12 amateur fights with one for the title.
The presentation was made in the rectory of the National University of Catamarca, with the presence of the rector, Oscar Arellano, the undersecretary of Sports of La UNCa, Jorge Albarracín, the promoter Facundo Cisterna and the presence of the challengers for the Provincial title up to 64 kg, Alejandro López and Agustín Navarro, with their respective coaches, Joel Corzo and Rodrigo Agüero.

Meanwhile, the undersecretary stated: «It will be the first activity to be carried out for the 50 years of UNCa. It is an idea that has been worked on and now we can translate it. “It is the first time that a Boxing evening will be held in our institution.”
The boxers also took the floor, “Pistolero” López said: “I have been preparing very well. I’m ready to fight four rounds. It will be a good measure thinking about professionalism. I know that Navarro is a powerful rival, that he moves a lot and I am prepared to fight my fight.
Meanwhile, “El Pibe de Oro” Navarro stated: “I have been preparing thoroughly with my coach. I also spar for seven or eight rounds with boxers who are heavier than me. “It will be one of the last fights as an amateur for me and I hope to put on a good show.”
The evening will take place this Friday, May 10, in the UNCa multipurpose shed. There will be 12 amateur fights with a general admission value of $2,000. The entrance will be through Maipú. It will be supervised by the Catamarca Boxing Federation.
