In a video, the former director of the Ungrd, confessedly corrupt and who has smeared other officials for having distributed money that was intended for the purchase of water for La Guajira for other purposes, asks President Petro for forgiveness for the “regrettable, deplorable made”.
“I know that we have prayed, we have been very close to God who will accompany us in this truth, which each and every Colombian deserves, so that all of us involved can repair the country for the damage caused,” he concludes.

What role did you have in the scandal? According to the former deputy director of the entity, Sneyder Pinilla, and López’s own confessions, the two heads of the Ungrd took money from a contract that sought to bring tankers of drinking water to La Guajira to bribe, presumably, bribe congressmen to pass the government reforms in the Legislature.
