Ombudsman’s Office committed institutions to accessible and quality health for Casanareños » PRENSA LIBRE CASANARE

The Ombudsman in Casanare, Mauricio Rivera, convened an inter-institutional meeting at the Ministry of Health, in which he urged to join efforts to improve the provision of health services in the Department, addressing issues such as opportunity in the provision of services , attention to complaints and claims and guarantee of services to users.

Authorities and representatives of the sector attended, including the Secretary of Health of Casanare, Tatiana Chávez Duque; the Orinoquía regional director of the National Health Superintendency, Leonardo Puentes; the Secretary of Health of Yopal, Nicasio Mariño; Lady Patricia Bohórquez Cuevas, Manager of the Casanare ESE Health Network; Jhon Paulino Rojas Daza, Manager of the Central Hospital – ESE Salud Yopal; and managers of the EPS that are present in Casanare.

Strategies and concrete actions were discussed to work as a team and improve the provision of health services. Emphasis was placed on the importance of guaranteeing timely and quality care to all users, as well as the need to strengthen the mechanisms for handling complaints and claims to guarantee patient satisfaction.

The Ombudsman, Mauricio Rivera, highlighted the importance of this meeting and the willingness of all the institutions present to collaborate in the improvement of health services in Casanare. It was agreed to continue working in a coordinated manner and establish concrete actions to guarantee quality and timely care to all inhabitants of the Department.

The official considered that these working groups are a step towards improving the provision of health services, highlighting the importance of teamwork and collaboration between all the institutions involved.
