Open call for the Facade Contest of the Francisco el Hombre Festival in Riohacha

The contest began to select the best facades alluding to the Francisco el Hombre Festival in the capital of La Guajira. This year the event brings a new edition under the name ‘La Leyenda Vive’, and it is intended that every corner of the city is immersed in the celebration.

The contest is divided into two main categories: Facades of Houses and Premises: For this category the prize will be a box for the gala on Saturday.

Tourism Sector: Travel Agencies, Hotels and Restaurants, in which the first place will win one million pesos in cash, given by the departmental tourism department.

Those interested in participating must enter the official website www.festivalfranciscoelmujer.co and complete the registration before May 31.

This initiative is possible thanks to the joint effort of the ‘Women of Francisco el Hombre’ and the Departmental Tourism Directorate, which seeks to promote the appropriation of the festival and turn the city into a cultural setting during this celebration.

This year, the Francisco el Hombre Festival brings ‘La Leyenda Vive’, it has three galas facing the Caribbean Sea, presenting 10 groups selected from qualifying rounds held in Valledupar, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Medellín, Bogotá and La Guajira.

In addition, renowned artists such as Eddy Herrera, Jessi Uribe, ‘Mono’ Zabaleta, ‘Rafa’ Pérez, Diego Daza, ‘Churo’ Díaz, and Óscar Gamarra, among others, will participate.

In addition to the galas, there will be unmissable events such as the inaugural parade, the AMA catwalk, the parade, the antique car parade and folk conservatories.
