Lules: A woman and her son are arrested for narcotics

A few hours after the Lules Directorate of Dangerous Drugs (Didrop) headquarters was inaugurated, the members of this special unit arrested a woman and her son for drug dealing. It was in a search measure carried out this Wednesday in the 25 de Mayo neighborhood of the city of San Isidro de Lules.

In the house they seized 29 “bochitas” of cocaine, an approximate sum of 5 million pesos and a precision scale, among other items. In addition, two people were arrested. This is an adult woman, who is a repeat offender and is under house arrest, which aggravates her situation; and her son, a minor. Both have extensive criminal records and were detained at the disposal of the UFINAR authorities,” explained Deputy Commissioner Armando Romano, in charge of Didrop Lules.

“The investigation began last January following anonymous complaints made by residents of this neighborhood, and led to the kidnappings and arrests of these people. We will continue working to combat this scourge that harms young people in the area, taking into account the directives issued by the provincial government, the Ministry of Security, the Police Headquarters and Digedrop,” concluded Romano.
