A wedding celebration on a farm in La Vega, Cundinamarca,
ended bitterly when the bride and groom and guests were victims of a massive robbery.

The event, which was to be an occasion happy for a couple from Bogotá and their family and close friends, was marred by the absence of security measures at the site.

According to what was collected by Ojo de la noche for Mañanas Blu, after the ceremonythe newlyweds and their guests went to rest, but the thieves took advantage of the darkness and lack of surveillance to break into the farm.

One of those affected told Blu Radio that the property lacked security cameras, both at the entrance and exit, and that the back of the place was completely dark.

“The property does not have security cameras at the entrance or exit, much less inside the property. It had blind spots in the back, totally dark. We can’t find where they came in, where they came out. We walked, we walked around, but no,” he told Blu Radio.

The theft, valued at more than 15 million pesos, focused on cell phones and cash. The criminals also searched each of the suitcases, leaving some items of clothing at the back of the property.

The newly married couple could not stay to file a complaint because they had tickets for their honeymoon. However, family and friends They hope to file a collective complaint upon their return, in the hope that it can be found to those responsible for the theft.
