This Thursday, May 9 at 6:00 pm, at the Bicentenario Theater, the Tunja Cultural Agency of the Bank of the Republic, in alliance with the Secretariat of Culture, Tourism and Territorial Heritage of the Mayor’s Office of Tunja, will hold the Young Performers concert .
On this occasion we will be delighted by ¡Sing, Bogotá Sing!, a representative choir of the District Student Project of School Choirs of the Bogotá Secretariat of Education. Founded and directed by María Teresa Guillén Becerra since 2013, this choral group is made up of children and adolescents between 12 and 23 years old, from public schools and different universities in the capital. He has participated in district and national events such as the International Festival of Sacred Music, and has offered concerts in important theaters in the city. More than half of the repertoire they perform has been commissioned from Colombian composers taking into account the pedagogical intention of the ensemble.
