In order to continue making Manizales and Caldas known internationally as attractive territories for investment, from Invest In Manizales so far in 2024, two missions have been carried out, the first in Brazil and the second was carried out in Argentina.
As a result, new investment opportunities were achieved for the city and the Department by companies interested in developing expansion plans in the IT and agroindustrial sector; In addition, articulated work began with the companies contacted in this investment mission.
These two countries were chosen due to their economic strengths, where Brazil is the one that has invested the most in Latin America and Colombia in recent years, having 79 companies installed; Meanwhile, Argentina is the Latin American country that has opened the market the most in Bogotá and the metropolitan area in recent times, and it was also the territory that had a 304% increase in investment in the year of the pandemic.
During the agenda developed in Brazil, the agency participated in “Anuga Sao Paulo 2024”, the most important food fair in the world where, together with Invest in Armenia, six meetings were held with businessmen from the agribusiness and IT sectors. .
In Buenos Aires, an agenda was developed with entrepreneurs from the technology and life sciences sector and with investment funds; nine meetings were held there.
