A 27-year-old man identified as Federico Andrés Robledo was sentenced to life in prison for co-authorship of the homicide of Zenón Ledesma committed in 2020 in the city of Santa Fe.

The sentence was imposed by a court made up of Judge Cecilia Labanca (president) and judges Leandro Lazzarini and Jorge Patrizi within the framework of a trial in which the procedures that took place yesterday in the courts of the provincial capital were abbreviated. .

Prosecutor Andrés Marchi was the one who led the investigation that led to the conviction. The MPA official recalled that in the same file, Marta Graciela Pereira, who is Robledo’s mother, was also sentenced to life imprisonment.

“The crime was committed by three people,” the prosecutor clarified. “In addition to Pereira and Robledo, the attack was also perpetrated by another son of the woman, who is a fugitive and for whom there is an arrest warrant,” added Marchi.

Ledesma’s homicide was committed minutes before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2020 in a home located at 5,800 Berutti Street.

“Robledo, his mother and his brother went in a car to the place, entered the house violently and without authorization, hit the owner of the house with the barrel of a firearm, went to one of the rooms and They shot the victim,” the prosecutor said. “After wounding one of his legs, they moved him to another room where they continued attacking him with firearms with the intention of killing him, an objective they achieved after one of the projectiles pierced his vital organs,” he said. .

Marchi maintained that “there was a prior and premeditated plan by the three people” and added that “they acted in an orchestrated and organized manner.” In this sense, he recalled that “the first instance judges who judged the conduct of Robledo’s mother understood it this way, as did the chambermaids who confirmed the sentence imposed on the woman in the oral trial.”

Robledo was convicted of the crime of qualified homicide for the use of a firearm and for the premeditated collaboration of two or more people.

For its part, the life prison sentence imposed on Pereira was resolved on August 7 of last year in an oral and public trial that took place in the courts of the city of Santa Fe. The court that ordered it was made up of Judge Celeste Minitti (president) and judges Pablo Spekuljak and Pablo Ruiz Staiger.

After Pereira’s Defense appealed the decision, a second instance court made up of chamber members Sebastián Creus (president), Roberto Reyes and Bruno Netri confirmed the first instance decision.
