The Colombian National Team already has its pre-list of 28 players for the Copa América 2024. This Thursday, The Colombian Football Federation announced Néstor Lorenzo’s squad for the friendlies against the United States and Bolivia, prior to the start of the continental tournament. After those two games in Maryland and Connecticut, the coach will rule out a couple of players to close his roster of 26.

Starting this Monday, May 27, the National Team will begin its concentration in the city of Barranquilla. Lorenzo and his players will work there until Wednesday, June 5, when they will travel to Washington DC to prepare for the first friendly against the United States on Saturday, June 8.

Colombia will be in Washington until Thursday, June 13 and then leave for Hartford, capital of the state of Connecticut, site of the second friendly against Bolivia (June 15). Once that match is over, Lorenzo will remove two players from the squad and will leave with the team for the West Coast from the United States for the final days of preparation. The debut in the Copa América will be on Monday, June 24 against Paraguay in Houston, Texas.
