The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, today analyzed the situation of electricity generation in Cuba, which in recent weeks has become complicated due to different factors.

In the sixth episode of the program Desde La Presidencia, published on the Cuban Government’s YouTube channel, the president spoke about the issue with the general director of the Electrical Union, Alfredo López, and the Technical Director of that entity, Lázaro Guerra.

They analyzed the energy contingency marked by long and annoying blackouts. They also address the program that the country is developing for the assembly of photovoltaic parks in all provinces, as well as the need for a more rational use of energy, in the state and residential sectors.
