Girardot News: Police capture individual with 100 doses of bazooka


In a recent operation carried out in Girardot by the Special Operations Group (GOES), security forces managed to capture a man suspected of drug trafficking in the Las Rosas neighborhood, specifically in block Q. This operation is part of a comprehensive strategy of the National Police to ensure the tranquility of citizens and combat micro-trafficking in the region.

Operations against micro-trafficking in Girardot

During the operation, the agents noticed that an individual was trying to evade police controls. After arresting and identifying him, they proceeded to carry out a search in search of illegal objects or substances.

During this search, they found a package containing 100 doses of bazooka in one of his pockets, confirming authorities’ suspicions of illegal activities.

The captured person, a 34-year-old man, is known in the criminal field as alias “El Negro.”

This arrest represents a significant blow in the fight against micro-trafficking in the area, evidencing the effectiveness of the police operations and the preventive plans that are being carried out.

This individual was presented before a guarantee control judge and now faces charges for manufacturing, trafficking and possession of narcotics.

The prosecution of alias “El Negro” is one more step towards reducing the distribution of illegal substances in Girardot and its surroundings, and reflects the determination of local authorities to eradicate micro-drug trafficking.
