Justice is investigating a serious episode that occurred days ago at a Córdoba Police station, where two young people arrived with the alleged intention of stealing belongings from the unit.

At the police headquarters, in the Ciudad de los Cuartetos neighborhood of the Capital, there was a police officer who ended up firing a weapon as a deterrent when he saw that one of the individuals showed him a revolver.

The Police Headquarters denied that a theft of any belongings had taken place.

In any case, there are suspicions that they were thieves from the area.

They are not detained at the moment and the case is being investigated by police investigations and by the jurisdiction’s prosecutor’s office.

The episode happened last Friday, May 17, at the 45th police station of the Córdoba Police in the Ciudad de los Cuartetos neighborhood, in the northeastern area of the Capital.

According to reports, it was just before 11 p.m. when the department’s duty officer heard noises coming from outside the building. The uniformed man looked towards the back of the room and, under these circumstances (as he would later say) he saw two subjects who were already on the wall.

The officer would declare that, after discovering them and telling them to stop, the individuals showed him a firearm in a threatening manner, so he pulled out his service pistol. Thus, he fired a shot into the ground. There were no injuries.

The individuals escaped without being arrested, although they would be identified.

After all this, after the uniformed man alerted his superiors, several mobile phones and reinforcements arrived and mounted an operation in the sector that did not yield results.
