With the aim of enriching the extra-academic time of students from official educational institutions in the 116 municipalities not certified in education, the Government of Antioquia, through the Ministry of Education, continues with the execution of the ‘Extended Day’ strategy. in the department.

The second pilot of this strategy was launched in the Bajo Cauca subregion of Antioquia in the municipality of El Bagre, benefiting 120 students from the 20 de Julio Educational Institution.

In total, it is expected that this program will be implemented in 2,500 educational sites in the department. This initiative seeks to offer various activities in culture, sports, technology and second language, as a complement to the school curriculum of the department’s students.
