Progress is made in improving royalty management projects

A meeting with the Deputy Director General of Royalties, Jonathan Deluque and the Advisor of the Royalties area of ​​the National Planning Department (DNP) Andrea Gonzalezsaid the governor (e) Carlos Andres Duartein the company of the Planning Director, Deymer Torreswith the objective of carrying out an exhaustive analysis of the department’s indicators in relation to the Royalty Management Project Index (IPGR).

During the meeting, significant progress was made in improving the IPGR, as well as in planning technical advice for the department and communities. The commitment of all those present to work jointly to optimize the execution of these projects and guarantee the positive impact on the quality of life of the inhabitants of La Guajira was especially highlighted.

Likewise, the Development Plan and the special chapter on royalties were addressed, obtaining satisfactory results that reflect a clear and aligned vision towards the progress and well-being of the territory.

Also mentioned was the exploration of the possibility of providing support for the development of regional projects in the PEDET municipalities, specifically in Dibulla, Fonseca and San Juan del Cesar. The objective is to generate a transformative impact in strategic areas such as transportation, tourism, security, energy and water, with a view to reducing inequality gaps and satisfying unmet basic needs in these municipalities.

This meeting has laid the foundations for a key collaboration between the entities involved, with a focus on the sustainable and equitable development of the department.
