The Boyacá Treasury Secretariat has managed to consolidate a very important vehicle tax collection, reaching 91% of the budget goal corresponding to the year 2024, presenting a growth of 23%, compared to the same period in 2023.

Marcela Villegas, Secretary of the Treasury of Boyacá, recognized that the collection of the vehicle tax in 2024 has been very important, “we congratulate the taxpayers who have taken advantage of the different discounts in the settlement of their taxes. The collection until May 15, 2024, corresponding to 80% of the department, is 26,341 million pesos, this means that we achieved an execution of 91% of our annual budget goal, which corresponds to 23,942 million pesos for the period 2024.”

Julián Piña, director of Collection and Inspection, invited the people of Boyacá to take advantage of the 5% reduction for the vehicle tax which is available until May 31, “payments made during the month of June will not have any benefit.
