The Victims Unit arrived at the community of Tanguí, Chocó, to deliver clothing and musical instruments, among other cultural implements as part of the Comprehensive Collective Reparation Plan (PIRC), in order to strengthen the ancestral traditions of their communities. more than 1,000 inhabitants victims of the armed conflict.

With this measure we seek to strengthen the themes of alabaos, dance and shawm music, Tanguí has ​​always stood out for this and we believe that with this measure we will be able to leverage what has been called the Chirimía 2 group of Tanguí,” indicated María Fernanda Ángulo. , director of the Chocó territorial unit for Victims.

This cultural event also saw the formal start of what will be the adaptation and improvement of the Casa Grande de Tanguí, a community space that will be the traditional and memory epicenter that will allow for the holding of cultural, social, and funeral meetings since Due to the deterioration of the infrastructure, these activities were no longer carried out there.
