It will be a week since the border corridor authorities determined the preventive closure of the passage to Chile and this Sunday could be enabledif weather conditions permit.

According to what the meteorological models indicate, The intensity of snowfall in the high mountains will continue until Saturday afternoon, then the phenomenon will begin to decrease.

It is estimated that on Sunday, around noon, the corridor will be open for all types of vehicles. Everything will depend on whether, especially on the Chilean side, the route was completely cleared.

The good weather will persist until next Friday, May 31the day on which the corridor will begin to operate with its winter schedule, that is, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Argentine time).
