Recently, the specialized media Xiaomi Adictos shared the first real images of the new Xiaomi SU8, a sports SUV that would arrive to compete head to head with the Tesla Model Y.

As you can see in the aforementioned photographs, which we leave you below these lines, the new Xiaomi SU8 has appeared circulating on the streets of China under a dark paint and with camouflage effects that do not allow you to fully appreciate its design.

Despite this, in these images you can see that the Xiaomi SU8 is a vehicle wider than the Xiaomi SU7, especially in its rear part and will have a laser radar mounted on the roof, something that confirms that this new electric car from Xiaomi will be equipped with autonomous driving technologies.

At the moment not much is known about the Xiaomi SU8, a name that has not even been confirmed by the Chinese company itself, except that It will be more powerful and advanced than the Xiaomi SU7 and its production will begin sometime next year 2025once the second phase of its manufacturing plant located in Beijing is put into operation.

Regarding the launch of the new Xiaomi SU8, some rumors point to the Chinese company will present its second electric car at the beginning of next year along with the global version of the new Xiaomi 15 series.
