  • This annual event of the Association of Guides and Scouts of Chile will be recorded at the Germania School for two days.

The Germania School will be the place where the National Assembly of Scout Guides of Chile will be held on June 29 and 30, where the attendance of about 300 Scouts from Arica to Punta Arenas is expected.

The Scout movement has been in Chile for 115 years and is organized in the country through 84 districts, where in each one a delegate is elected who will be present at the Annual Assembly, which is the instance where decisions are made on how it will operate the association at the national level. The scout volunteer commissions in charge of organizing the lodging, food, and transportation services, among others, will also be present.

In the Los Lagos region there are four districts: Osorno, Puerto Montt, Lago Llanquihue and Chiloé and it is the Lago Llanquihue District, led by Álvaro Soto, who is responsible for bringing this year’s assembly to a successful conclusion, which will be registered in the Germania because it is the institution that has the largest number of scouts registered in the district association.

The Lake Llanquihue District includes Puerto Varas, Fresia, Llanquihue and Frutillar with about 500 scouts in the district and about 3 thousand registered throughout the Los Lagos region.
