The audiovisual, directed by Magda González and scripted by Amilcar Salatti, has achieved great audience success throughout its three seasons, thanks to a coherent discourse, reflected from a deep empathy and sensitivity.

Calendar talks about young people, but it talks about them and their relationship with school, teachers and family, the director considered in an interview for national television.

In his opinion, more serials should be produced with these arguments, “we have dealt with all the issues without wanting to attack any audience, but with the intention of making them reflect.”

We will try to make sure they enjoy the end of the series, we will enjoy it and it will be like the live thermometer – not through social networks or what they tell us – of the public with the closing of Calendar, González highlighted.

The drama features the stellar performances of figures with a dedicated career in art such as Osvaldo Doimeadiós, Patricio Wood, Roberto Perdomo and Mayra Mazorra, together with the mastery of the young people and a character who sympathizes with for her sweetness and extraordinary talent: the teacher Amalia, played by Clarita García.

Situations related to addictions, female homosexuality, racism, prejudice, pedophilia, among other topics, are portrayed in this popular production that gives love to the public of the Caribbean nation every Sunday.
