The Government of Neuquén and the Federal Investment Council (CFI) presented various financing proposals aimed at entrepreneurs and SMEs from Neuquén in each of the regions.

The organization was in charge of the Secretariat of Planning and Institutional Linkage. It had the participation of the PyME-ADENEU Center, COPADE and IADEP, through various lines of credit. The Provincial Bank of Neuquén and the Guarantee Funds of both the CFI and the Province (called FOGANEU) were also represented.

The presentations have already been made in the Confluencia, Vaca Muerta, Oil Region, Central West and South regions. However, these days will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week in the Northern region, with presentations in Chos Malal and Huinganco,
to end on Friday in the Limay Medio region (Picún Leufú).

More than 700 people attended the financing talks during the first week.

During the meetings, financing tools aimed at entrepreneurs and SMEs and MSMEs from Neuquén are presented.

The dissemination schedule began in Plottier and included the participation of Vice Governor Gloria Ruiz and the Minister of Human Development, Local Governments and Women, Julieta Corroza. There, the available credit lines were announced so that interested people can access the information and know what the existing financing lines are.

To facilitate the participation of those interested, talks were organized in all regions of the Province.

The credit tools arise from the agreement signed in March by Governor Rolando Figueroa and the Secretary General of CFI, Ignacio Lamothe, assuming the commitment that they have territoriality and dissemination. The objective is set on productive development, from accompaniment to entrepreneurs and leaders of SMEs and MSMEs, so that it has an impact on the development of the province.

Leticia Esteves highlighted the importance of the private sector: “We want all Neuquéns to know the lines of credit and for them to be available so that they can continue entrepreneurship, investing, generating employment and growing in their different activities,” she said.

The provincial official indicated that they will tour the regions “to tell them what tools we have from the Government, through different sources, so that they can access, it is our objective to accompany the private sector, which is the engine of the economy, when you grow, We all grow as a province.”

The SME-ADENEU Center disseminated the current lines of credit through the provincial program “More SMEs, More Future”, which is financed by the Bank
Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). In addition, he reported on the Investment Tax Credit Program, which allows companies to access tax credit bonds to pay provincial taxes, for up to 20 percent of the investments made in the current year.

For her part, the director of IADEP, Josefina Codermatz, announced the general characteristics of the credit lines intended to finance family farming and expressed, “that priority will be given to projects presented by small and medium-sized producers who have the authorizations and relevant records but that another line was also created to include those who do not have tax registrations linked to the activity, since financing is a key aspect for its development.”

Ana Servidio, undersecretary of COPADE, highlighted the importance of these lines of financing that “from the provincial government we have managed before the CFI for 3,000 million pesos and that come to complement the credit offer that is promoted from other areas of the government, such as the SME Center-ADENEU, IADEP and the BPN, who together make up the Provincial Financing Committee.”

He highlighted that “in the first week of dissemination of these credits, nearly
700 people” and added that, “with the COPADE team we will develop project formulation workshops in the different regions during the months of June and July to facilitate access to financing for producers, entrepreneurs and SMEs, accompanying them throughout the application process, from prior consultation to effective disbursement.”
