This Saturday, the municipal mayor led the formal activities for the commemoration of the May Revolution. There was Tedeum, raising of the national flag and an event at the San José Cultural Center.


In a new commemoration of the May Revolution, Mayor Maximiliano Wesner led the activities that began at 8:00 a.m. in the San Martín Palace, there was a Tedeum in the San José Parish and an official ceremony.

It all started with a chocolate alongside institutions and living forces in the hall of the San Martín Palace. At 8:45 a.m., those present accompanied Municipal Mayor Maximiliano Wesner to Coronel Olavarría Plaza, to raise the national flag. Later, the Tedeum was held in the San José Parish.

He The central event began at 11:30 at the San José Cultural Center, chaired by Mayor Maximiliano Wesner, where a large number of students participated, carrying the national and Buenos Aires flag representing their schools.

Also present were the president of the Honorable Deliberative Council Guillermo Santellan, the Chief of Staff of the Municipality Mercedes Landivar, accompanied by municipal authorities, representatives of the various representative institutions of the city, educational at their different levels, living forces, councilors of the different blocks , communities, ex-combatants, among others, neighbors.

“The homeland, sovereignty are built every day, every morning. The country has to find us in every place, in every home, in every talk, in the classroom, it has to summon us to that identity that the patriots achieved. It seems important to me to call for reflection this May 25. On this date I invite you to work together, transform from love”, indicated the Municipal Mayor.
