That ruling was appealed by prosecutor Luciana Escobar Cello, from the sexual crimes area of ​​the MPA, who requested the revocation of the resolution, so the case went to the Court of Appeals and now Judge Reyes must review the decision made by his peer. of first instance that freed the accused.

International operation in Santa Fe

The case against Jauchen and Papini It began on May 7, when agents from the Investigative Police (human trafficking area) carried out two raids to seize computers and arrest the alleged Santa Fe pornographers.

Such a procedure took place within the framework of an international cause called “Allies for Children III” that began in the United States and then spread to different countries around the world.

The raids in Santa Fe were carried out at the request of prosecutor Matías Broggi. However, the judicial official later withdrew from the case because he knew the father of one of the detainees.

The case was assigned to prosecutor Escobar Cello who, two days after his arrest, accused the Santa Fe residents and requested preventive detention. However, Judge Minniti did not accept the measure and ordered alternative measures.

The ruling was appealed and now it will be Judge Roberto Reyes who will evaluate that resolution and determine whether to confirm or make another decision.
