The IPVU financed a gas project that benefited about 200 people.

Provincial authorities yesterday led the delivery of 39 lot holdings in the La Canchita sector of the San Lorenzo Sur neighborhood. There, the Provincial Institute of Housing and Urban Planning (IPVU) carried out a gas project that will benefit about 200 people and included the connection of 48 homes.

The Ministers of Infrastructure and Government, Rubén Etcheverry and Jorge Tobares, as well as the president of IPVU-ADUS, Pablo Dietrich, participated in the activity; and the provincial director of Habitat and Urban Planning, Jorge Salas.

During the event, Etcheverry stated that the delivery of the certificates “is the merit of a great effort that the people from habitat, housing, and Jorge (Salas) have also been making with all the organizations and the government team.” He added that “we also want to thank today the people of Camuzzi, who from the first day of management approached us and are at our disposal, also with the Home for the Elderly in Villa la Angostura and with a work by Picún Leufú.”

When referring to infrastructure in the province, he said that “we are looking for financing for many works. In housing alone, think about the effort that the entire team is making, there were 200 works paralyzed, without financing, to start restarting all this, the truth is that it is an enormous task and that sometimes it is not seen.

Etcheverry reported that Governor Figueroa sent a housing sustainability project to the legislature yesterday and detailed that the norm aims to benefit the community through the financial recovery of the homes delivered by the state. “In this recovery we will be able to have enough financing to do new works for new neighbors, it is nothing more nor less than solidarity, that is, having solidarity between all the neighbors,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Dietrich congratulated the beneficiaries “who today will have ownership of their land, and I specifically want to thank Jorge and his team” and highlighted that “the gas work that had a cost of 13 million pesos of investment” . For his part, Salas thanked “the presence of the ministers and the president of the IPVU. I think it is the way to work seriously so we can reach the real families of those who are the beneficiaries, we believe that the work our colleagues in the management did was very good to reach this.”
