The III Classic Logroño-La Rioja/Memorial Arturo Grávalos had a clear protagonist: the Italian Tommasso Bessega.
The Polti Kometa team cyclist won the sprint at the Avenida de la Paz finish line, in front of the Logroño City Hall and, in addition, he was also the most voracious in the intermediate flying finishes.
The Italian achieved victory in the mass finish at the Avenida de la Paz finish line over a peloton that started with 129 runners ready to face a day in which they had to cover 133 kilometers.
Behind the winner Bessega, Gabriel Ochando (Gomur) was second and Rubén Sánchez (Caja Rural–Alea) took third position.
In addition, Lucas Guillermo (Eisser-Hirumet) won the title of Champion of La Rioja under 23, while Diego Gonzalo (Torres-Trigón) won the elite regional championship, in a race that once again paid an emotional tribute to the deceased Riojan cyclist Arturo Grávalos.
