Cars stolen in La Rioja and Córdoba are recovered in San Juan
Between May 10 and 30, the San Juan Police carried out a series of operations that resulted in the seizure of several automobiles and auto parts. Among the recovered vehicles, some had kidnapping requests coming from Córdoba and La Rioja.
On May 17, in Rawson, a black Ford Ecosport truck was seized, which had a sequestration request since September 12, 2019 in Chilecito, La Rioja. This case is under the jurisdiction of the Criminal and Correctional Investigative Court No. 1, Second District of La Rioja.
On the other hand, on May 10, in Capital, a Renault Megane vehicle was seized. This car had a seizure order issued since March 2002 by the Judicial Unit of the Córdoba Police and is at the disposal of UFI No. 3 Crimes Against Property.
Likewise, on May 15 in Caucete, a BMW 650cc motorcycle was seized that had irregularities in its identification. The base of the vehicle was roughed up and the last three digits of the frame number did not match the factory originals. The operation was directed by the tax assistant of the UFI Crimes Against Property.
In addition, additional kidnappings were carried out: a Maverick 110cc motorcycle in Albardón and a Zanella ZB motorcycle in Rawson.
These operations reflect the continuous effort of the San Juan Police to combat vehicle theft and trafficking of illegal auto parts, contributing to the security and tranquility of the community.
