This Monday morning, the Capital’s firefighters had to go to two homes to put out the flames caused by equal number of fires.
The first of them occurred in the San Roque neighborhood, in the east of the city, after the fire started in a room of a house located on Filiberto de Mena street, in block 33.
An emergency service was present at the scene and treated two children, ages 3 and 5, for smoke inhalation, without needing to be transported. Meanwhile, total damage was found in one of the rooms of the property.
The other fire broke out in a house in the Las Flores 2 neighborhood, in block 33, lot 9. There, by using the appropriate elements, the personnel involved managed to quell the combustion in a 16 m² studio apartment, noting material damage and collapse of tin Roof. No injuries were reported.
