Aguas del Valle will begin the third stage of the restitution work of the sewer network in the Route 5 sector in Coquimbo, which will benefit more than 12,600 families in the commune, with an investment that exceeds $1,430 million.

The zonal deputy manager of the water utility, Juan Pablo Jacob, indicated that “these tasks are essential to reinforce the wastewater collection service and in this way strengthen our infrastructure in the sector, eliminating the bypasses that we had to implement at the end of 2022. ”.

The executive explained that the jobs and their benefits have been communicated directly to the neighbors through meetings and door to door in each of the private homes, in addition to conversations with social leaders, transport unions and corresponding authorities.

For the resident of the sector, Patricio Ramírez, “all the works are carried out for the well-being of all of us who live in this sector.”

The comprehensive project considers the renovation of 1,824 meters of collectors under the open ditch modality. In this stage, the works will be carried out on Los Nogales and Domeyko streets, in the coves of Route 5 North, intervening in half the road, and extending until the month of October of this year.
