Within the framework of the event Invest Chile, Jaime Oviedo, country manager of SoftServe Chiletalked with Radio Guide about the trajectory of SoftServe Chilethe impact and the main challenges and objectives they have for the future.
SoftServe Chile is a custom software development company, which was born in Ukraine 30 years ago and has its clients mainly in Europe, the US and Asia, according to Oviedo. “In Chile, in particular, what we do is look for talent to make those developments that we have sold abroad,” he said.
“We have been hiring Chileans here for 2 years now and the results have been excellent,” commented the company’s country manager.

Regarding the main strategies and objectives, Jaime Oviedo commented that his main goal is “position the largest number of Chileans in world-class development projects.”
“For that, what we are doing is make alliances with universities, educate and transfer knowledge of what we have outside to have a much stronger professional base than what we already have,” he added.
The country manager revealed that a plan in the near future is to go to the regions. “There is talent in regions, therefore, We are projecting, in the coming years, US$2 million just for hiring personnel in regionsthat is going to be our strength within the initiatives.”
Likewise, he explained that in SoftServe Chile“we have many training programs, We have an entire university on the internet where we are constantly training our people.
