A San Juan police officer ended up injured this Monday, June 3, 2024 after crashing his motorcycle into a bus from the Mayo company, belonging to the Tulum Network. The traffic accident occurred at 2:30 p.m. inside the Cerro Grande neighborhood, in the Pocito department.
It should be noted that the 28-year-old police officer, Cristian Alberto Canto, was traveling on his private motorcycle, a 150-cylinder Motomel, and not in a local force vehicle. He serves at the 34th Police Station, which has jurisdiction at the scene of the accident. Although it is not yet known if the cash was transferred to his workplace or had left his work.
The road accident occurred on projected streets in the Cerro Grande neighborhood, precisely on a corner. The police officer moved from east to west, while the bus, Line 241 of the Mayo company, moved from north to south. The largest vehicle was guided by the driver Osvaldo Sebastián Páez, 33 years old.
