The blows still persist in the PRO after the breakup of the blocks in the Buenos Aires Legislature. Now, the party is asking the director of Banco Provincia, Santiago Nardelli, to leave that position. They also want Fernando Compagnoni to resign from the province’s Judicial Council. “That place belongs to the PRO, he has to resign,” they say in La Plata.
Nardelli and Compagnoni are part of the Bahía Blanca Group, a political group in the south of the province that grew during the government of María Eugenia Vidal. Former mayor Héctor Gay and former senator Nidia Moirano are part of that group.
In last year’s elections, they played hard with Patricia but many votes went to La Libertad Avanza and that led them to lose the municipality to the Peronist Federico Susbielles.
Nardelli came to the bank within the framework of an agreement between Axel Kicillof and the opposition. A seat on the Bapro board is one of the most precious places in Buenos Aires politics.

Gustavo Soos, Gabriela Demaria, Ariel Bordaisco occupy a seat in the Senate. Meanwhile, as a deputy there are, in addition to Compagnoni, Germán Di Césare, Facundo Tignanelli.
In the case of councilors, it is the Chamber of Deputies that can influence a change. In the case of the board of directors of Banco Provincia, the Senate must take action.
The crisis in the Buenos Aires PRO broke out with a massive resignation of councilors from the party, then controlled by Reich, a provincial senator and wife of Diego Valenzuela.
