Promises that are not kept: ICAA remains paralyzed waiting for answers
The workers exceeded 50 days of strike demanding the application of the administrative scale and despite the governor’s commitment more than two weeks ago, they still do not have a resolution to what is required. There is also a court ruling that ordered officials to comply with the demands, but so far there are no answers.
For this Tuesday, the workers have scheduled a meeting with the State Attorney, an official to whom the governor entrusted the task of solving and complying with the workers’ demands.
Now, the protest with strike has been going on for more than 50 days, a coordinator who joined the administration of the Correntino Institute of Water and the Environment (ICAA). The same “does not solve anything for us either and what we also ask is that the current administrator who was the one who generated all this problem be removed. He never wanted to dialogue with us and what he did was the complete opposite. He chased us,” said one of the workers of the provincial organization located on the property of the province’s Ministry of Production in the Libertad neighborhood.
