The governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, provided details to Channel 9 Litoral of the agreement signed with the national government to reorder public works, with projects that will be completed with funds that Casa Rosada will send and others that will pass into the orbit of the province. He also spoke of a sending extraordinary funds in Mayregarding co-participation.

“We have been insisting that it was necessary to launch projects that had been stopped for a long time, doing the same as with the provincial ones, with a debt of more than $20 billion. We were not able to unblock the issue, but we are now the first province to define which works the Nation will continue to finance and which will pass to the Province.“, indicated Frigerio. And he added: “We eliminate a long-standing uncertainty, for State contractors and for the people, who see works paralyzed while there is a commitment from the Nation to move forward with interjurisdictional works.”
Regarding the criteria for the transfer, the governor pointed out: “They are those with the least level of progress, which do not necessarily have a national character, which in cases are local. We will continue them according to our budget or with funds that we are managing. We will make specific agreements, but the idea is to finish them all.
Co-participating funds and Base Law
“We have between 25% and less than 30% more resources than last year. Due to fiscal reforms of the previous government and a significant recession, which has caused income to drop. These extraordinary funds for May have to do with Income Tax on the sector financial, but it was punctual, not permanent. It alleviates the bills, but it does not solve them. For that we should have the same as last year with the Bases Law and the Fiscal Package and an economy that recovers,” indicated the provincial leader. And he noted: “If that happens, we will have more resources for investment, for hospitals, police and recovering the road network. And then give fiscal relief to the productive sectors by lowering taxes.”
“We agree with the Bases Law, which has been modified with constructive opposition. It is different from the original, as is the fiscal package. Both are central. With the May Pact, we believe that they are measures to accompany. We understand the need of support in such a difficult time,” highlighted the former Minister of the Interior.
Saving the Retirement Fund
