In a solemn ceremony held in the office of the Government of Casanare, Governor César Ortiz Zorro swore in the 15 young people from Casanare who will make up the new Departmental Youth Council.
This event marks a milestone in youth participation in the region, reaffirming the commitment of the departmental government to the empowerment of new generations.
The councilors, elected through an internal democratic process with the participation of 17 delegates from various municipalities, received their credentials from the Governor, thus supporting their legitimacy as representatives of Casanareño youth.
During the ceremony, Governor Ortiz Zorro, accompanied by his cabinet, emphasized the work that these leaders assume: “You are the voice and heart of our youth. His election is not only a personal achievement, but a responsibility to every young person in Casanare. “I am confident that his leadership will shape a brighter future for our department.”
The Government of Casanare reaffirms its commitment to work in close collaboration with the new Departmental Youth Council, facilitating spaces for dialogue and action that allow the aspirations of young people to be translated into effective public policies.
