The president of Luján de Cuyo was the only one from the province to participate in the 6th edition of the meeting held last weekend in Bogotá. The international event brought together governments, institutions, companies and professionals from the region to debate the innovative and sustainable development of smart cities and territories.
The mayor of Luján de Cuyo, Esteban Allasinoparticipated in the sixth edition of the international celebration Expo smart Cities. The communal chief exhibited the advances in modernization that the municipal state has had under his management, within the framework of an event that brings together governments, institutions, companies and professionals from the region to debate the governance and strategies of the territories, development and transformation of cities.
Allasino was summoned mainly by the quality seals that the department has, among which the international certificates awarded by Bloomberg Philanthropies. In addition, Luján is first in the Open Data ranking of Cities in Argentina prepared by the organization open Knowledge Foundation and is internationally certified for being Efficient Management.
Among other qualities, Luján de Cuyo It is considered the only department in Mendoza to be a leader in transparency, operate with efficient management and apply public policies based on data and evidence. “It is a great honor to be part of the delegation that represents Argentina, being the only department of Mendoza that is a leader in technological innovation, data-based management and internationally certified,” the mayor of Lujan said during his presentation.
