A new hitman incident occurred last night, claiming the life of a young man identified as Daniel Cabarcas, known as ‘Niche’. The attack occurred near the María Cristina neighborhood, northeast of the capital of the Magdalena department.
According to the first information, the young man was on the railway line located in the aforementioned neighborhood and was intercepted by two antisocials who were traveling on a motorcycle and whoever was acting as a griller got off, took out a firearm from the waistband of his pants and hit him several times with bullets.
Once the strangers fulfilled their plan, they left at full speed on the motorcycle they arrived, while ‘Michel’ was helped and taken on a motorcycle to the emergency room of the Bastidas health center, from where he had to be referred. to the Julio Méndez Barreneche Hospital due to the severity of the injuries and minutes later he died.
For their part, units of the Santa Marta Metropolitan Police attached to the CAI of Bastidas began the so-called ‘lock plan’ to find the gunmen who almost took the young man’s life. Regarding Daniel Cabarcas, it was learned that he is a resident of the 17 de Diciembre neighborhood, more precisely in the sector known as ‘El Bolsillo’.
Likewise, the Judicial Police began neighborhood work and interviews with their relatives to determine the motives for the hitman attack.
