After a joint investigation with the OS9 section of Carabineros, the Local Prosecutor’s Office of Antofagasta formalized a 25-year-old subject for the crime of storage of child pornographic materialrequesting the precautionary measure of preventive prison considering it a danger to the security of society.
The investigation of the case began last March, when the individual of Chilean nationality was detained inside the José Papic school in Antofagasta, while He pretended to be a student of said schoola situation for which he was formalized, in the first instance, for the crime of carrying a sharp weaponbecause a knife was found in his possession.

However, after his arrest, two cell phones were also seized from the accused, in which the child pornographic material.
With this background, the prosecution requested the corresponding arrest warrant for the subject, as well as the entry and search of his home to seize, review and empty all electronic devices found in that placediligence that allowed numerous devices to be recovered with more material of the same type.
In this way, the detainee was formalized as the author of the crime of storing child pornographic material and a precautionary measure of preventive detention was requested for him due to danger to the security of society, a measure that was granted by the court, decreeing an investigation period of 90 days.
