The suspect, detained in the La Paz neighborhood of Barranquilla, demanded money from her victim in Baranoa and threatened to send the images to his partner.
The Gaula Group of the Atlantic Police, in an operation carried out in the La Paz neighborhood, in the Suroccidente locality of Barranquilla, arrested a 25-year-old young woman, accused of the crime of extortion, under the modality of sexting, for demanding money to a man not to disclose intimate photographs.
According to what was reported by the authority, the captured person made financial demands on his victim residing in the municipality of Baranoa, through threatening phone calls and WhatsApp messages, in exchange for not sending intimate photos to his wife, of a previous sexual encounter that they had.
“The capture was carried out in flagrante delicto, at a time when this person received from his victim the sum of 370,000 thousand pesos. The Atlántico Police Department invites the community to report any event that affects citizen tranquility to the single emergency line 123 or 165,” the Police said.
