In conversation with Radio Biobío, Jaime Sanhuezapresident of the National Association of Bartenders of Chile (Acobar), has seen how “It became a boom in our country”.
“We have been world leaders in consumption of Ramazzotti ‘Aperitivo Rosato’ for a couple of years, leaving Germany in second place. Its consumption has been so great that the Ramazzotti product ‘Aperitivo Violetto’ (made with elderflower and lavender) was launched exclusively for Chile,” Alejandro Ibarra, international mixologist and national ambassador of the brand, explained to the aforementioned media.
But why did it happen? For Sanhueza, “The brand has done a good job in terms of advertising, offering exclusive glassware and equipment, so that bars can sell their products, even in promotion. On the other hand, it is a sweet liquor and that makes it enter the Chilean palate almost automatically. With the sparkling wine, it is a perfect mixture for someone who does not want to drink something so strong or bitter, unlike Aperol”he sentenced.
