A 29-year-old woman was detained this Tuesday morning after perpetrating two robberies in a pharmacy from Las Heras in a period of five hours. The suspect, identified as Melani Daiana Gomez and a native of the San Martín neighborhood, she was captured by employees of the premises when she was trapped between the bars and the automatic door while trying to escape.
The incidents took place in the Natal Pharmacy, located on José María Godoy and Rivero streets. According to the employees of the pharmacy to MDZ, The first robbery occurred around 8:15 in the morning when the woman, dressed in a black jacket, red hood, and blue and black checkered pants, entered the store and began stealing hygiene products, storing them in a pink backpack. Despite being confronted by the employees, she managed to escape before they could close the establishment’s blinds.
“These robberies happen every day. We are tired. We no longer know what to do,” explained one of the pharmacy chain employees.
