The governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, announced that the two new lines of the MetroRedwhich will travel along the Valle de los Fantasmas boulevard -formerly Carretera a Rioverde- and Circuito Potosí, will begin their operation free of charge, in order to socialize this means of transportation.
These routes will be available soon.
This will be inclusive transport, with spaces for older adults, women, people with disabilities and even for petsin addition to including unique amenities such as Wifi and air conditioning.
The Valle de los Fantasmas boulevard line will have inns from Ciudad Satélite to AlamedaDuring the journey, workers will be able to reach one of the largest commercial sectors in the metropolitan area in José de Gálvez avenuewhile the students will be able to reach the Technological Institute of San Luis Potosí and will also allow users of Ciudad Satélite, who work in the industrial zone, to reach Alameda where they can board line 1.
The route on the Potosí Circuit It will be an authentic collective transportation system with continuous circulation in a confined lane, so the stops will be transfer areas where there will be taxis and other public transportation routes.
Meanwhile, the new 43-kilometer perimeter route of the Potosí Circuit will allow the mobilization of thousands of users to hospitals, employment centers and recreational areas such as the Potosina National Fair, the Labyrinth Museum of Sciences and Arts, The Parkand paradores in Capulines, Peñasco, Puerta Real, Calle 71, Plaza San Luis, Villa Magna and Papagayos Avenue.
Currently, there are two lines from Saucito to the industrial zone that will connect in Alameda with the new routes.
