The woman arrested for the million-dollar robbery at the Resistencia jewelry store was transferred from Corrientes – CHACODIAPORDIA.COM

This Thursday, after the authorization of the judicial warrant, a commission from the Chaco Property Crimes Division traveled to Corrientes and transferred the woman arrested for the million-dollar robbery of a local jewelry store to Resistencia. The detainee was housed in the First Metropolitan Police Station.

The robbery occurred on May 29 at the jewelry store located at 90 Brown Street, in Resistencia. The investigators reconstructed that the detainee entered the premises by jumping over the roofs adjoining it, reached an internal garden of the business and from there cut off the electricity supply and a bar of the aerial fence, accessing the premises through a vent light in the toilet to take a millionaire loot in jewelry.

The person in charge of the business reported the theft of 50 chains, 90 rings, 20 bracelets, 30 pairs of earrings and 50 pendants, all made of pure gold of different weights. With the help of the security cameras, it was determined that the suspicious person, after committing the robbery, boarded a bus bound for the province of Corrientes.

When she was arrested on Monday she had in her possession 700,000 pesos, 2,000 dollars, rings, bracelets, a chain and watches, among other items.
