With an intimate show that explores the personal experiences and musical creations born throughout the landscapes he travels, the pianist Martín Tarnofsky will take the stage this Sunday at Espacio Teatral TES (Juan B. Justo 335 south, Rivadavia) at 8 p.m.

Talisman on the road It is the name of the shows because my business was called Talisman musical instruments and that is how they know me in Patagonia. “So, I sold the store but I kept the brand that identifies us on Instagram,” the composer born in Buenos Aires told DIARIO DE CUYO, who arrived in El Bolsón 2 decades ago and 4 years ago met María Elira Magistocchi (38 ), a woman from Mendoza who, by chance or not, settled in that city where they “flashed,” as he remembers about the woman who encouraged him to continue alone.

Just 2 months after the relationship, Martín (53) sold the house he bought and with his current partner bought a motorhome and a drone with the hope of reaching Alaska. To fulfill his great desire, the creator travels the Argentine routes creating and performing in spaces throughout the country, as will be this Sunday in the province.

“A year ago we asked ourselves: Why not? So we put together our dreams of living traveling, to which I added my desire to make music and go on different stages trying to grow this to tour the country for about 3 years. After playing Alaska, we will go around the world without any rush with my partner,” said the instrumentalist, also a father with his ex-partner Victoria, 24, who studies and works in Buenos Aires, and Tomás, 27, living in Spain.

Thus, on December 29, they left El Bolsón to go down to Ushuaia along Route 3, stopping in different towns such as Puerto Santa Cruz, where they put on a captivating show. “From there, they were recommended to us and in 2 months we did 20 dates, which brought us to San Juan to give the concert on Sunday and film in Barreal, among other locations,” said Martín about the experiences that nourish him since His peculiarity is that on the routes, he composes and plays in front of his piano in the imposing natural landscapes of the country, while “Eli” is in charge of filming him in these landscapes and uploading the videos to social networks.

“In this way, in San Juan I will play songs of my authorship, telling the stories that inspired me, some personal, others from Eli and others from people and situations that I experienced on the trip to ensure that the public can travel with me. I do a kind of channeling and always express myself with my eyes closed. To liven up the moment, I will also play covers of Fito Páez and Chary García,” stressed the author, who added that this is the second time he has “kicked the board” in his life, by leaving Buenos Aires and moving to El Bolsón at the age of 33. , from where, a few months ago, he immersed himself in a great adventure “living in a more austere way and on 4 wheels,” as he emphasized.

The message? “I want people to be encouraged to live. No matter your age or obstacles, you can live your dreams,” reflected who defines himself as a contemporary composer with influences that come from classical music, which he learned from the ages of 6 to 10; and jazz, which he studied from the ages of 10 to 14. “In jazz, I had a teacher who wanted me to perfect myself in Berkeley (California). Since my parents did not support me, I did not touch a key again until I was 28 years old. But I realized that I was missing music and I returned to it without realizing it,” recalled the pianist.
