In an operation with a total of 12 raids, the Police announced an arrest, delay and seizure of milk boxes, weapons and six motorcycles. “From December to June we were investigating at the Yerba Buena Police Station for different causes of robberies and aggravated robberies in which a couple was involved who accosted their victims and stole their belongings,” the Security force explained.
The raid measures were carried out simultaneously in the early hours of yesterday, which led to the discovery of 180 boxes of powdered milk that were prohibited for sale.
“From December to this month of June, we have been carrying out investigations for different causes of robberies. As a result of these investigations, 14 raid measures were requested, of which 12 were authorized and completed on Thursday,” explained the head of the URN, who personally supervised the mega police operation.

Regarding the results, Beltrán detailed: “Six motorcycles were seized on which the perpetrators of the robberies were traveling and various pieces of evidence such as cell phones, gravestones, a pistol, a replica firearm and projectiles of different calibers. What caught our attention is that in one of the raided homes we found 180 boxes of powdered milk that came from the Ministry of Community Development of the province of Buenos Aires.
The intervening prosecutor’s office ordered the seizure of these boxes that were prohibited for sale and that had to be distributed in Buenos Aires territory. Likewise, from the Complex Crimes Unit, they ordered the seizure of a machine that was used for printing batches, numbers and expiration dates and the delay of a person until their background was known.”
“As a result of all the measures, one person was arrested and four were detained at the disposal of Justice,” explained the commissioner. Gustavo Beltran, head of the Northern Regional Unit.
